Fresh produce and staffed by helpful union employees. It won't be as cheap as wal mart but the quality of the items is a bit higher especially the fruit and vegetables. Parking can be congested as a small parking lot shares access to the entire strip mall.
Favorite supermarket in the area. We always go here for large shopping trips. Good selection of gluten free products.
Best bakery around. Fresh, tasty, yum. Every time I shop there, I have wonderful cashiers and helpful staff. Fresh produce and meat. Just wish they carried catnip and cat grass fresh like another grocery store in PA does for my cats. Clean store well done, accolades to the workers.
How does one praise a grocery store ? In the case of the SR in Montague, it's praiseworthy for simply being located where it is. The next closest full service grocery store is Price Chopper, in Matamoras, PA . This SR is not the largest or fanciest in the area...you'll have to visit Newton, NJ or Warwick, NY to find that, but it is open 24-7. Thanks ShopRite!
